Delta Sigma Pi Denver Alumni Chapter

The cost of a college education continues to rise. According to a 2008 article from CollegeBoard, the average price tag for a private four-year college is $25,143 per year and $6,585 per year for a public four-year college. Many students would never be able to afford a college education without scholarships, grants, student loans, and other forms of assistance.

The purpose of Delta Sigma Pi includes the words “to encourage scholarship.” Through the fraternity’s 501(c)(3) Leadership Foundation, the Denver Alumni Chapter established a scholarship fund in April of 2008. To date, the Alumni Chapter has raised about $10,000. Once the fund becomes endowed ($20,000), an annual scholarship will be awarded to a Deltasig from one of the undergraduate chapters in Colorado. Thank you to those that have have supported this scholarship project.

CASH Donations
The Foundation can process any cash, check, or money order presented. All donations above $100 receive a receipt for your tax purposes. PERIODIC CHARGES ON YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD
Annual or quarterly payments can be coordinated through the Foundation office. This paperless method for giving is an excellent way to budget your contributions over an entire year. ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS
The Foundation can work with your human resource/payroll department to set up an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from your paycheck. The process is paperless, and your gift is automatically tracked through your own payroll statement. Join the Living Legacy Society by making a provision in your will or trust, which can be executed at the time of the creation or addition to your will. You also can designate the Foundation as a life insurance beneficiary.
