The Colorado Springs Alumni Chapter is having their second annual rafting trip. It will be June 26th from 9am - 3pm. We are camping out the night before if anyone is interested. Then the day of, we will raft Big Horn Sheep Canyon, which is 14miles long, then stop for lunch, and then finish rafting the Royal Gorge. The cost is $79, which was negotiated down $15. On Thursday, February 4, the Denver Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi will be honoring our spouses, significant others, family and others who support our activities as Deltasigs. We recognize that without the support of these special people, we wouldn't be able to stay active. Spouse and guests are welcome and invited. Members without a spouse or a guest are encouraged to attend to help us celebrate. We did something like this last year, and everyone had a nice time and enjoyed the meal.
We will be celebrating at The Runway Grill at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (Jefferson County). The Runway Grill is located on the 2nd Floor of the Denver Air Center. Happy-Hour will begin at 5:30 PM followed by dinner and a short program. We will be ordering from a fixed-price menu – $20. The menu choices are sirloin steak, chicken piccata, or salmon, and includes salad, vegetable, baked potato, and non-alcohol beverage. Please write a check to the chapter or bring cash to the event. Directions to the Runway Grill:
Take US 36 towards Boulder and exit Broomfield/Wadsworth Blvd/US 287.
Take Wadsworth Blvd. South and take a right at the first stop light onto Colorado 128/120th Avenue. Turn Left at the next stop light on to Airport Way. Continue straight at the stop sight toward the control tower. The Runway Grill is in the Denver AIR CENTER building at the end of the road on the left. Turn left immediately before the "One Way Only" sign and continue toward the AIR CENTER. If you miss that turn, just keep going and the road leads to the row parking as well.
